A not-shocking confession: I’ve never met a Union Jack or London bus-themed product I didn’t like. If you know someone like me (or you just want to buy stuff for yourself #nojudgement) here’s the gift guide you need!

Milly Green Celebrating Britain Set
This $25 gift set (available from The Bee’s Knees British Imports) is perfect for your London-loving friend or relative and includes tea, a London bus mug, and a tin of biscuits, all with a festive London print! Plus it comes packaged very nicely in a cute box ready for gifting.
Anglotopia Magazine Subscription
I’ve been a fan of Anglotopia (“The Website for Anglophiles”) for years now and they produce a very high quality magazine four times a year that’s filled with interesting articles about Britain. They also have a sister site, Londontopia, and an associated magazine. Jonathan and Jackie, the husband/wife team who run the sites, do such a great job creating content that’s not the same stuff you’ve read loads of times. For example, deep dives and behind-the-scenes about places you think you know everything about or have been to loads of times.
I recently learned from the magazine that you can take a private Triforium Tour of St. Paul’s Cathedral – I didn’t even realize they had a library or the other rooms I learned about in the article. I subscribe to the digital version of Anglotopia magazine but they offer it in print, too. It’s the gift that keeps on giving all year long!
Treat your loved one to some home cooking from England this Christmas! The Pie Society is based in Georgia but this mother and son duo makes recipes from their hometown in Staffordshire, England. They ship home-cooked pork pies, quiches, tea cakes, sausage rolls and more, as well as your favorite UK sweets (hello, Maltesers Teasers!).
There is a $30 minimum order for shipping but that is easy enough to do! If you live in Savannah or Pooler, Georgia, you can visit their shops in person as well.
Union Jack winter hat
If you have to wear a winter hat, you might as well wear a fun one. This cozy knit beanie with a pom pom is a cute and useful gift, and also available in a Union Jack style in different colors other than the traditional red, white, and blue. Find it on Amazon.
London Bus Handmade Ornament
If you listen to my podcast or read my last gift guide, you know how frustrating it is that the Royal Collection site charges so much (£20, or about $25) for U.S. shipping. I just found TheTibetHouse on Etsy and they sell some beautiful handmade Christmas ornaments that are comparable to the ones you can find at the official palace shops … without the high price tag. This one is $15.94 and shipping from the UK is a much more reasonable $11.75 to my address.
The Time Traveler’s Guide Books
If you have an English history buff on your gift list, be sure to pick up The Time Traveler’s Guide to Medieval England, The Time Traveler’s Guide to Elizabethan England, and The Time Traveler’s Guide to Restoration Britain. Historian Ian Mortimer shows you what daily life was like in each of these time periods, re-creating the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes from the perspectives of different classes. I have these books on my personal wishlist this year!
Union Jack cufflinks
For the guy who has everything, these bright cufflinks from Wild Life Designs are a colorful twist on the traditional Union Jack design. They’re £28 (roughly $37) and available from Not on the High Street.
Kelly Hall Yorkshire Print
This beautiful print from Kelly Hall Designs is perfect for an expat friend or lover of Yorkshire. Find it for $40 at The Bee’s Knees British Imports (more on them later!).
LEGO Architecture London Skyline
How cool is this LEGO set? It includes pieces to build models of The National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, London Eye, Big Ben and Tower Bridge. My sister bought this one for my son this Christmas! You can find the set on Amazon.
Union Jack Throw Blanket
This Union Jack throw from Amazon gives any room some British flair. It’s generously sized at 50″ x 70″ and features decorative fringe. I just might need this one for my office chair!
Cotswolds Tea Towel
If you know someone who can’t get enough of The Cotswolds, why not gift them a little something to cheer up their kitchen? Get this tea towel for $13.56 from Bold & Bright on Not on The High Street. I have a tea towel from this seller in a different print and it’s a very nice quality with vivid colors.
London map illustrated print
I love finding new artists and illustrators on Etsy and this London map print from Alex Foster is so fun! Prices start at $25 (you can buy it in various sizes, so the price depends on what size you get).
Union Jack Pillowcase
I have a very similar throw pillow on the chair in my office (this is a pillowcase, so you need to buy the actual 12×20 pillow separately). It adds a nice pop of color to your home decor and I always get compliments on mine.
I mentioned in my royal gift guide that I love being able to shop for Emma Bridgewater from The Bee’s Knees British Imports because otherwise, it’s $30 in shipping from EB just to buy a mug that costs $34.95. But The Bee’s Knees have loads of other British goodies, ranging from art prints like the one I shared above to stationery, candles, biscuits, umbrellas, wallets, tea towels, cosmetic bags … you name it. They carry brands like Milly Green, Victoria Eggs, Dunoon, Jan Constantine, Burleigh and more!
Want to bring a touch of England to your Christmas celebrations? The Bee’s Knees British Imports is offering one lucky winner an Emma Bridgewater Christmas Joy Noel mug and Victoria Eggs London bus bauble!
They’re also extending a special promo code to my blog readers. Enter code ROYALLY20 at checkout to receive 20% off your Bee’s Knees order. I can’t even decide what I want to order next, but probably some of the Victoria Eggs London Christmas line!
